Views From Tiverton Canal

By Somerset Bob

BargesMarcy went to Tiverton yesterday and enjoyed a trip along the canal in a horse-drawn barge. She snapped loads of photos. Rather than post them all here and take up loads of space (you can view them at Flickr), I made them into a video with Windows MovieMaker, set it to Ralph McTell’s Barges and uploaded it to YouTube.

(Unfortunately the batteries in the camera misbehaved and by the time Marcy got them working again the camera had lost the correct date for the stamp on the photos. She wasn’t time-warped to 2087!)

Enjoy!

  1. Shelagh and I are trying to buy a narrow boat at the moment we intend to spend most weekends on the boat and I gues eventually spend most of our time on there….

  2. Lovely photos and lovely music. So many of the scenes look just as I expect English countryside to look like.
